Year in Pictures: Week 1/52

(Nikon 35mm f/2.2, 1/125, ISO 800)
I love this photo because I can hear my little man's laugh just looking at this!

This photo makes my heart happy! Without this challenge, it is 100% certain that I would not have this photo...The 20 minutes it took to set up (and game it turned into with Finley) was actually fun and we have this precious memory to treasure!
Well, I learned some valuable tips this week with the remote to get my little man to cooperate...he plays with it and "helps" me set up and then we take turns taking photos...works like a charm! Plus, the outtakes are hilarious!

How was your week???  For the few of you in this challenge, I can't wait to see what you come up with!! I am trying to stockpile some ideas for the coming weeks! If only the weather will cooperate! :)

Have a fantastic week, friends!

  1. Those images are great! Love them both! And I love that you set up the camera and remote and purposely did this little shoot. We were too busy to do a formal shoot but I got two fun, sweet images that capture life in our family as well.

  2. Hey, what settings did you use (ISO, f-stop, shutter speed) when you took that black and white? What lens did you use?

  4. Thank you so much, Marisa!!! :) It was a lot of fun to do. I have a remote for my camera and my son and I took turns pressing the button. The "outtakes" are hilarious! :)
